WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO)

SCRIPT WRITING | STRATEGY

As the COVID-19 global pandemic impacted more and more lives around the world and an abundance of misinformation spread, WHO wanted to create a set of case study videos that assisted various NGOs in their contact tracing efforts to try stem the curb of the pandemic’s growth. The three we focused on were the Austrian Red Cross, KU Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) in Belgium, and Circle of Hope in Zambia.

CASE STUDY VIDEO STRATEGY

While the videos had to be short, they also had to be impactful and informative.

WHO has a set of Key Principles and Standard Operating Procedures—or SOPs—to share with various NGOs and each video, while focusing on one organization, highlighted the Principles and SOPs used by that organization and how it helped their contact tracing efforts.

The strategy was to reinforce which Principles and SOPs were used by each organization, how they helped their efforts, and how other organizations can benefit by applying the same.

Some organizations faced different cultural challenges and these were highlighted to showcase diversity in thought.
